Solid Simulation Control

Introduction

For the Solid 3D Graphics Simulator, an object named Default is created for the user to enter cycle-driven simulation control parameters. Class Solid does not have any new attribute but inherits all the attributes from its parent class SimControl.Cycle.

The Ending Cycle Number in this demonstration is normally set to 0 for running the simulation forever. The Screen Refresh Interval attribute can be set to more than 1 so that the graphic window will be updated only when the refreshing cycle is reached. Faster rotation is the effect from this setting change.

Please consult the Running In-Process Simulation section in the SansGUI User's Guide and Class SimControl.Cycle in the SansGUI Reference Manual for more details.

The external process simulator is not tied to any executable program. We define this only to show how the generated textual model files look like.
